TADASHI's Story
Born into a working-class household, Tadashi had a challenging upbringing. Despite a rocky relationship with his parents, he still wanted to support them. His only dream was to bring peace to his household.
With opportunities scarce, Tadashi was only able to enroll in a low-ranking high school.
By the time he attended a university in Japan, Tadashi met a professor who not only recognized his talents but took him under his wing. This mentorship eventually led him to successfully enroll at University of Cambridge in England.
After studying there, Tadashi secured positions at three of Japan’s top universities—Waseda , Aoyama Gakuin and Yokohama City University—where he worked as a lecturer for 17 years.
At age 33, Tadashi wrote a smash-hit book about mastering English grammar through song, which sold over half a million copies. This led to comparisons in the press between Tadashi and a character from one of the biggest Japanese TV series, Dragon Sakura, where a lowly high school student beats the odds to make it to Japan’s best university. After that, he became a screenwriter and director but still harbored a passion for writing novels.
Eager to pen his first masterpiece, Tadashi knew he only had one shot.
Without a marketing team and with limited resources, his debut novel Crossroad sold over 1,000,000 copies and was adapted into a mega-hit manga with a full range of merchandise.
But this was only the beginning of Tadashi’s story...
Expanding into the overseas market as an entrepreneur and author, Tadashi became a highly successful cryptocurrency investor. This helped popularize crypto in Japan and earned him the nickname “King of Coin.”
Once a certain level of success is attained, it’s not uncommon for entrepreneurs to want to give back to society, and Tadashi was no exception.
He successfully launched various humanitarian projects, receiving numerous awards in Asia and The President’s Council Certificate of Excellence in 2017 from President Donald J. Trump.
And Tadashi accepted an honorary doctorate of Literature from Corpus Christi College of the University of Cambridge and was appointed Emeritus Professor there in 2018.
